SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY + COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
Nuena Photography is deeply committed to the environment and leaving as little a footprint as humanly and technologically possible. HOW
All non-photographic materials are printed on 100% recycled paper or cardstock (processed chlorine-free). This includes business cards, postcards, CD inserts, letters, notecards, save the date cards and more! Envelopes are recycled too! …And when possible, soy based inks are used.
Of course I try not to print out everything unless it’s necessary and recycle what I can afterwards. Recycling involves all paper products, as well as ink cartridges and equipment.
Since I’m a car-less city girl, public transportation or a Zipcar is used to get around, saving gas & money. Check them out, they have tons of different cars available all over the city (and country). It’s a great way to get where you need to go without having to own a car. …Will be posting some photos of my favorite zipcars soon! Are you a Zipcar memeber already? You are eligible for photography discounts! Check it out at: http://www.zipcar.com/sf/partners
All initial photo proofs are delivered via the web using a password protected online gallery, saving money and resources on prints. Proofbooks with image thumbnails are included with wedding packages in lieu of individual printed proofs, which are available at an extra charge.
Staying involved with the community and supporting local organizations is very important to me because I believe in giving back to the community that has helped me get where I am today. When my schedule allows, you can usually find me shooting benefit events for charities and other non-profit organizations/schools. I shoot for the environment, children, education, animals and more!
If you are an active 501(c)(3) non-profit, your organization is eligible for discounted or donated photography services. Please email me for details.
